We like it green in Glengarry: we have a hydro dam, 13 wind turbines, fabulous scenery, and a thriving friendly tourism industry, all set in a jewel of a glen. But surely to goodness the historic village of Invergarry, with

its many listed buildings, can do without being blighted by a

giant smoke-belching polluting biomass power station

upwind of the village and overshadowing the village cemetery

The New date for the Family fun day is August 15th

We are hoping to have a mini games for the children this is still to be arranged.

If you can help or have any ideas please let us know.

Any ideas or help for future events would be greatly appreciated. Lea is doing a great job getting different acts to the hall such as plays, puppets, pantomimes and traditional music; but we are still not attracting numbers. So if there is anything you would like to see please contact us. I know a lot of people don’t like to be on committees but we would still be interested in your ideas and any help. When we hold events the village also benefits;the performers have stay somewhere and they have to eat; so by having events it is bringing money into our village.
